- We also help maintain footpaths at Volunteer Days, details of which can be found in the Walks Programme.

Report a Footpath (Right of Way) Issue
To ensure that the Society is aware of all reported problems on footpaths, could you please follow the procedure below.
Our Rights of Way Officer, Phil O’Shea will be able to track the issue, keep Walk Leaders and Members informed and liaise with the National Park Authority. There is no need to report via the National Park reporting system, but use it to obtain the Rights of Way Code and Grid Reference for the path you are reporting on, as below:-
- First click on this link to go to National Park’s reporting site.
- On the map zoom in to the area where there is a problem and click on the footpath where the issue is.
- Note the ROW Code, which is highlighted when you click on the path on the map.
- Place your cursor on the exact point at which there is an issue and note the Grid Reference, which is shown at the bottom right of your screen. (For Example SP 12345 98765)
- Now fill in the Contact Form below with the information as above and include in the Message area a description of the problem.
