Application to divert public footpath no. 35, Town of Brecon, County of Powys

The National Park Authority has received an application from the Trustees of the Brecknock Agricultural Society and Brecon Rugby Football Club to divert part of the above right of way at Brecon Rugby Football Ground and Brecon Show Ground. footpath to a line that partly reflects public use on the ground. The footpath as shown on the Definitive Map crosses a rugby pitch (via two stiles), a situation that has existed for several decades. However, members of the public are already diverting from this route in order to avoid the pitch.
