Travel to AGM from east: A465 closure Sat 24 June, use diversion

Travelling information if you are attending the Park Society AGM this coming Saturday 24 June.

The A465 in the Clydach Gorge will be closed throughout next weekend which will affect some members coming to the Park Society AGM.  The road between Brynmawr and Gilwern will be closed 23-26 June from 20.30 Friday evening, to be reopened by 6.00am Monday

An alternative route would be the road from Llanfoist up the Blorenge past Keepers Pond to Blaenavon and then right on the B4248 to Brynmawr to then rejoin the A465 and on to Merthyr Tydfil.

Or, from Crickhowell through Llangattock to take the road signposted Beaufort up to Blaen- Onneu to join the B4560 turning south to join the A465.

So, if applicable, please allow some extra time for your journey.   The AGM will start at 10.15am.
