Start and Finish Times

The Start Time given in the programme is the time we will start walking.

• Therefore, please carefully check how long it will take you to get to the Meeting Point well before you set out.
• Allow enough time for you to get your boots and walking gear on.
• If you are running late, inform the walk leader, if you can. However, the group will not wait more than 5 minutes, particularly in cold weather.
• If you are unable to walk, again, try and contact the walk leader, so the group does not wait for you.

The Finish Time,  is inevitably an approximation. We aim to get walks finished on time, but a variety of factors - weather conditions, speed of slowest walker etc - can mean we finish earlier or later than advertised.
