NRW has put a ‘grouse moor’ access restriction in place Common Land RCL 50, Colva Hill, Glascwm Hill and Llandeilo Hill between Aberedw and Gladestry, in the county of Powys.

This information affects land outside the park but may be of interest to walkers/leaders, especially those with dogs. This access restriction results from a Grouse Moor Notification made to Natural Resources Wales (NRW) by the landowner. This Notification type is termed as a ‘Discretionary dog exclusion’ under Section 23 (a grouse moor restriction) of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 (CRoW). It is an access land restriction option specifically provided within the Act for use in relation to grouse moors. Full report available from Phil O’Shea ([email protected]).
