Non Members

• Non-Members are welcome to join in any of the Society's activities. You will generally be asked for a £5 donation to Society funds at the start of a walk or talk.
• As a Non-Member:-
  • • • You cannot manage your own bookings/waiting list etc for walks and talks.
      • You can attend as a guest of a member the Society's AGM, but cannot vote.
      • You cannot participate in any other activities, besides walks and talks, that the Society holds, unless as a guest of a member.

• Membership costs as little as £20 per year.
• Your fees go towards:-
  • • Insurance for all involved in Society events including walks
    • Leaders' training and equipment
    • The work of the Society in promoting and maintaining the National Park. This includes:-
      • Our work on the Dark Skies Reserve
      • Preserving ancient Tramroads
      • Working with other National Park Societies to ensure a sustainable future for our National Parks
      • Scrutinising Planning Applications within the the National Park
      • Scrutinising major Planning Applications adjacent to the boundary of the National Park that may have a detrimental effect
      • Working with the National Park Authority
      • Footpath maintenance
