Coronavirus Update

In view of the latest advice to combat Coronavirus/COVID-19, that “Everyone should avoid social contact and non-essential travel”, it’s with regret that the Society has decided to cancel all the walks during March and April. We will announce our intentions for May nearer the date.

AGM Postponed

In light of the current Coronavirus/COVID-19 emergency, we have decided to postpone the AGM due to be held on 28th March. We will return cheques to those that have sent them. We will notify members of any new date for the AGM in accordance with our Constitution and in conjunction with the Charities Commission.

Start place and time same. Recce showed water levels still too high on hills for safe crossing of streams. About ten miles some rough ground and only gentle slopes. Your chance to step up from Wednesday Wander?

SUGAR LOAF WALK UPDATE Some slippery and flooded paths have been changed but a small amount of wading is a possibility so please wear gaiters, and waterproof trousers and walking  boots not shoes. If high winds persist we will not visit the trig point.
