In view of the latest advice to combat Coronavirus/COVID-19, that “Everyone should avoid social contact and non-essential travel”, it’s with regret that the Society has decided to cancel all the walks during March and April. We will announce our intentions for May nearer the date.

So very wise. Many members are the age where they should self-isolate and there’s no guarantee that people will maintain a healthy space while chatting on a walk. We need to survive to walk again later on!
I agree with you…priority number 1 with any club big or small is health and safety
I would like to say well done to whoever’s made the decision you’ve lead where others were slow to come up with the answer bold and right good on you you’ve now set an example to others
