Illustrated Talk: Heritage of our National Park from the Air
Hello Park Society members,
You may have seen from our programme that Toby Driver will be showing us photographs that he has taken while flying above the Brecon Beacons National Park over the past 20 years. His presentation will be at The Bear Hotel in Crickhowell at 7.30pm next Wednesday 12th October.
Toby works for the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales and I was delighted when he agreed to make this presentation for us. His aerial photographs have provided a brilliant record of the archaeology and history of Wales which can be seen in beautiful books such as “Historic Wales from the Air” and “Above Brecknock”.
If you aren’t familiar with Toby’s work, this presentation will show you our National Park as you’ve never seen it before.
