Application to divert public footpath no. 95 in Community of Llanfoist Fawr, Monmouthshire.
The National Park Authority has received an application from Monmouthshire Housing Association and the Ashgrove Partnership to divert a section of public footpath no. 95 at the former Govilon Primary School, The Avenue, Govilon, Abergavenny, NP7 9PR.
The effect of the proposal would be to divert public footpath no. 95 in order to allow development, in accordance with planning consent 13/08848/FUL, to take place. The development comprises of 19 dwellings and an access road and the diversion will maintain the continuity of the footpath across the site.
In order that the Planning, Access and Rights of Way Committee may consider this application with the benefit of as much background information as possible, the Parks Authority invite any observations you wish to make before the 17th May 2019. To enable me to respond therefore, it would help to receive comments by the 10th May, please.
