Application to divert public footpath no. 14 Community of Vaynor, County Borough of Merthyr Tydfil

The National Park Authority proposes to divert a section of the above right of way at Llwyn-yr-Odyn Farm, Pontsarn, Merthyr Tydfil CF48 2TS

The effect of the proposal would be to divert the footpath away from the farmyard and garden area at Llwyn-yr-Odyn. The route of the diversion has been available as a permissive path for a number of years and public use, albeit light, has largely transferred onto this path from the public footpath. It is considered reasonable, under the circumstances, to seek the formal diversion of the footpath onto this route.
