Application to create a public footpath at Cwm Wood Mamhilad, Pontypool NP4 8RG.

The NPA proposes to create the above public footpath. The plan and an aerial photograph which detail the proposal and indicates any adjacent or connecting rights of way and/or adopted roads is available from Phil O’Shea ([email protected]).

The effect of the proposal will be to connect footpath no. 46 to an unsurfaced public road which links the Old Abergavenny Road to the road network in Upper Llanover. The route appears to be in use by the public but is currently obstructed by several large fallen trees. The Authority has failed to trace the owner of the affected land. Members are invited to submit observations by 8 April 2022.
