Your payment will be via GoCardless, this is a secure site and the Society will not have access to your banking details. Your Membership will be confirmed immediately and an annual payment created.

Membership is open to anyone who is interested in enjoying and in caring for the Brecon Beacons National Park. We work with the Park Authority and like-minded bodies on issues where we have something to contribute - the extent of which is largely up to our Members. Whatever your interest - planning & development, archaeology, geology, flora and fauna, night skies, dry stone walls, footpaths - do come and join us.

  • Younger Members (under 18) are welcome, but a responsible adult must accompany them on all activities.
  • Family Membership is for two adults living at the same address, plus any children under 18.
  • Members may also participate in the Guided Walks and attend Events for no charge.
  • There is an Annual General Meeting for Members at a different venue in, or close to, the National Park.

Note that payment options are shown after you have submitted the Application Form. We prefer online payments via GoCardless, but there is an option to pay by cheque.

Bank Transfer or Cheque

GoCardless is our preferred method of paying your subscription. It is totally secure, we do not see any of your bank details and you can manage future payments yourself. From the Society’s point of view it substantially reduces the administrative burden for our volunteers, who already put in many hours each week to keep the Society running.
