Illustrated Talk: Offa’s Dyke – a summer ramble or a long muddy slog?
On Wednesday 3rd May, Alun and Isobel Davies will be giving us an illustrated talk on “Offa’s Dyke – a summer ramble or a long muddy slog?”. This will be at The Bear Hotel in Crickhowell at 7.30pm.
Offa’s Dyke Path is the national trail which roughly follows the Wales / England border. It takes in a great variety of landscapes along its course between Chepstow on the banks of the river Severn and Prestatyn on the North Wales coast. So if you have already walked it, this is an opportunity to refresh your memory; or if you are thinking about it, you can find out more; and if you want to know what the fuss is all about, this is a chance find out.
Alun and Isobel are members of the Brecon Beacons Park Society and they have given us several talks in earlier years. We look forward to seeing them again.
