FROM ATLANTIC TO MEDITERRANEAN – HIKING THE PYRENEES …. Illustrated Talk

Brecon Beacons Park Society members,

Charles and Helen Henderson will be telling us about their adventures in hiking along the great mountain trail of the Pyrenees, the GR10, which runs all the way from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean.  Their illustrated talk will be at The Bear Hotel in Crickhowell at 7.30pm next Wednesday 9^th November.

Charles and Helen started their hike in the summer last year and they returned to complete it this year.  Using a specialist French company to arrange accommodation and transport, they stayed in a mixture of small hotels, mountain refuges and gites.  Their photographic highlights include stunning mountain views, historic pilgrim churches and the unique Pyrenean flora.

Many of you know Charles and Helen who are long-standing members of the Brecon Beacons Park Society and have led many of our walks.  They regard this hike as eminently do-able for BBPS members, so do come and perhaps you will be tempted!
