David Jones and Capel-y-ffin Exhibition

There is an exhibition at Y Gaer in Brecon which will featuring David Joes and Capel-y-ffin with exhibits drawn from National Museum. National Library , Tate, V and A, and many private collections. It runs from 1st July to 29th October and entry is free.

David Jones was one of the great British artists
of the twentieth century: a painter, printmaker,
illustrator, poet and essayist.
This exhibition centres on his time spent at
Capel-y-ffin in the 1920s, which he described as
‘a new beginning’ in his art.
It is a rare opportunity to see a large group of
David Jones’ original works on display at y Gaer.
