NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PATH DIVERSION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 BBNPA (Public Footpaths Nos. 10 and 11 in the Community of Llangorse)
Public Path Diversion Order 2019 On the 6th May 2021 the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority confirmed the above Order, to divert:
1. public footpath no. 10 from a point to the north east of Eligro at grid reference 314555,227424 and
2. public footpath no. 11 from the public road at grid reference 314997,227108.

The Order came into force on 6th May 2021 but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof, he or she may, within 6 weeks, make an application to the High Court.
This is a very welcome diversion. It avoids going through the Cae Cottrel farmyard where the farmer accosted walkers. It also sensibly re-routes the path near Eligro, and the overall outcome provides a good route from Llangorse village to Mynydd Llangorse.
